Blacks That Give Back

I am so excited to let you in on a unique opportunity.  All Star Code is new and innovative non-profit venture that exposes black male youth, ages 14-17 to technology, with an upcoming full day workshop on November 23, 2013.  The program was founded by Christina Lewis Halpern the daughter of the late businessman and philanthropist, Reginald E Lewis.

I first learned of this experience through my friend at Higher Learning Education Consulting.  My 16-year-old son registered for and participated in the inaugural workshop and I must say, he had an amazing experience.  Since taking the workshop, he regularly references the things that he learned through his growing interest and participation in technology.

Spread Love, it’s the Brooklyn Way, by sharing this information!

…and when you visit the website, there is a familiar face.

I am glad that there are still some positive influences out there for our male youths.

Adele, I agree. There are more positive influences out there than they get credit for.
