Presidential Love in Brooklyn.

The current state of our public school system is an ongoing topic of concern in Brooklyn and beyond.  Therefore, it is an amazing thing when the President of the United States of America acknowledges when it’s done right by his seal of approval.  This Friday, President Barak Obama will be shutting down my neighboring Prospect Park from 12pm-6pm, (which will be used as his heliport) for his visit to Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) in Brooklyn.

This is a new school that the President has praised for its innovation, and what better way to celebrate the schools’ efforts than to see it first hand.  Some Brooklynites are complaining about the inconvenience that the monumental visit will cause for runners that use the park.  Some may disagree but I think there is more  importance in the Presidents work and the students, neighboring Albany Projects and the Crown Heights community that houses P-TECH.  Presidential Love in Brooklyn, will have a profound impact.

Even our President Spreads Love, it’s the Brooklyn Way!
