Keeping a Cold At Bay.

I’m no Doctor but I have been around long enough and as a mom have nursed plenty runny noses to know what to do with winter colds.  For many of us, as soon as we get sick we think we need antibiotics however, most cold/flu are viral not bacterial and have to just run their course.  Using over-the-counter medicines may provide some relief of the symptoms themselves to support getting you through that period.

As a mom of three, the best for to treat a winter virus is by Keeping a cold at bay!

Like many other households, if the mom is sick, the entire operation suffers.  Therefore, especially for the winter months I find it is important to keep up healthy regimens to maintain a healthy immune system.  Some of what I do is: mutli-vitamin daily, every other week of a natural supplement combo that consist of Black Seed Oil, Echinacea and Zinc. In addition, maintaining a healthy diet that is inclusive of immune boosting foods is critical.

I’m feeling that scratchy throat myself so it’s about time for me stop this cold dead in its tracks!  Spread Love, It’s the BrooKlyn Kisha Way!
