Be VISIONary!

Almost one month into 2014 and I pray that we all are laying the foundation to accomplish the goals that we’ve set for ourselves.  Conversing with different friends, colleagues, and acquaintances alike, I am so inspired by moves that my sisters and brothers are making.  Stepping outside of comfort zones in order to both discover and live out our true purpose. To everyone that is intentionally doing the work to heal, to create, to lead, to make a difference: Be Visionary!

As I pen this posting, I am truly inspired by a dear friend who in fact, celebrates a birthday today.  She an amazingly gifted women who comes with no gimmicks which can be a rarity. This is especially a true and valued virtue in a time of social media when many create these public personas that may not be a true reflection of who they actually are or so negative that they suck the life out of you. Her and I often talk about “doing the work” and her transparency and authenticity has been one of the major motivating forces behind my own get up and go.

It is no coincidence that I have come across an event experience that I hope we all at some point take part in.  No matter where you are in your journey of life, having a visual reminder of your goals, aspirations and accomplishments can support you in your growth.  Whether it’s creating anew or updating the old, having a vision board can be very gratifying and help you stay motivated. On February 8th, there will be a Vision Board Party with invited guest Lucinda Cross, and the perfect opportunity to get off and running. You can also host your own vision party with your circle of friends and incorporate check-ins as a way of accountability. No matter how you choose to, do it!

As I embark on new experiences, I look forward to increased participation in activities with other dynamic people whose focus is growth. The year is still young, let’s do this!   Spread Love, It’s the BrooKlyn Kisha Way!

Are you really ready?

Are you really ready?
